This wine is created from carefully selected Danish blackcurrants of the Ben Alder variety. The Nordic climate, with its cool nights and long bright days, gives the blackcurrants a longer ripening time, resulting in a fantastic aroma and a unique acid profile. The blackcurrants are gently crushed and fermented at low temperature together with the skins to achieve a rich taste. Before the second fermentation in the bottle, the blackcurrant wine is blended with our apple wine to achieve a perfect balance between aroma and acid. The wine is aged in the bottle for at least 9 months before disgorging.
