These unique terroirs combine to create a unique wine experience.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe grapes were carefully hand-picked from mid-February to mid-March 2013, when they had reached optimum ripeness. After harvest, the grapes were transported to the winery in small boxes and sorted again. Each parcel was vinified separately, underwent malolactic fermentation and was aged for 16 months in small French oak barrels, 85% of which were new. Only the most promising barrels were selected for the final blend, which was then aged for a further 8 months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e The wine presents itself with a deep red color and a black core, accompanied by complex aromas of dark berries, fruit cake, tobacco, herbs and violets. The taste is sophisticated and well-balanced with nuances of black cherries, ripe plums, blackcurrants, spices, cedar, leather and tobacco. The barrel aging is harmoniously integrated and highlights the fruit in the most beautiful way.
