The finest products use the \"Criaderas y Solera\" system from Sherry, where new distillation vintages are filled into the upper casks, while the lower rows are bottled after many years of aging.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eBarbadillo was established in 1821 by Don Benigno Barbadillo in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The company remains family-owned and is managed by Don Antonio P. Barbadillo, a respected winemaker with over 50 years of experience. Barbadillo has around 500 hectares of vineyards in the Jerez Superior area and is 60% self-sufficient. The remaining grapes are purchased from carefully selected winegrowers.
