Since 1998, Caparzo, a well-known producer of Brunello, has been in charge of its management. The estate includes 37 hectares of vineyards with varieties such as Sangiovese, Cabernet, Syrah and Chardonnay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eBorgo Scopeto's Chianti Classico is made from Sangiovese grapes from Vagliagli and Castelnuovo Berardenga. The wine undergoes a fermentation process of approximately ten days and is then aged for at least 24 months, 12 of which are in Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is then aged for a further 3 months in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Chianti Classico Riserva presents a deep color and a complex aroma of cherries, plums, blackcurrants, mocha, chocolate, licorice, nutmeg and vanilla. The taste is full-bodied and spicy with a velvety texture and a solid tannin structure.
