The vineyard is strategically located between the famous Petrus and Lafleur. In 1953, the property was acquired by the Moueix family, who have managed to raise its quality to new heights.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e The vineyards extend over almost 9 hectares and are planted with 90% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. The grapes are harvested by hand, the stems are removed and advanced optical sorting technology is used. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the wine matures for 16-20 months in 30-50% new oak barrels. Before bottling, the wine is clarified with egg whites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eSince 2013, wine production has been moved to Château Hosanna. The wine consistently receives rave reviews. Antonio Galloni has described the 2016 vintage as elegant, polished and refined, with soft tannins and a texture reminiscent of cashmere.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e Christian Moueix joined the family business in 1970 and took over as president in 1991. He has expanded the family's vineyards with properties such as Château Hosanna, Château Providence and Château Bélair.
