The vines, which are between 40 and 60 years old, produce a low yield of 25-30 hl\/ha. The grapes are carefully picked by hand and transported carefully to minimize oxidation. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks and aged for one year in oak barrels. It presents a deep red color with aromas of cherries, wild berries and liquorice. The taste is complex with nuances of wild plums, spices and tar. Caroline Frey, a trained oenologist, has spearheaded the revitalization of the company. All vineyards have been updated and new plots in Côte Rôtie, Condrieu and Châteauneuf-du-Pape have been added. The area stretches along the left bank of the river between the towns of Tain and Romans in 11 communes in the Drôme department. The vineyards face south and east and surround the Hermitage mountain.
