The vines are between 40 and 60 years old and produce a low yield of 25-30 hl\/ha. The grapes are hand-picked and transported with care to minimize the risk of oxidation. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks and matures for a year in oak barrels after malolactic fermentation. It presents itself with a deep red color and aromas of cherries, wild berries and liquorice. The taste is complex with nuances of wild plums, spices and tar.
