This sophisticated red wine is made up of 35% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 35% Corvinone and 10% Oseletta and Croatina. The grapes are carefully handpicked from vineyards in Mezzane di Sopra, Valpolicella, and undergo a 3½ month drying process. The wine is then aged for 54 months in new French oak barrels and a further 30 months in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe wine presents a deep garnet red color and offers aromas of black and blue berries, plums, vanilla, chocolate, mocha and pepper. The taste is soft with a sweet character that highlights notes of berries, balsamic, vanilla and spices. The aftertaste is long and persistent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e Best served at 14-16 degrees. Ideal with mature cheeses, chocolate desserts or as a wine for meditation.
