The liqueur added during disgorging (liqueur de dosage, 9 g\/l 2013) consists of wines from Roederer's finest Grand Cru vineyards and has been aged in barrels for 4-10 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eThe wine presents itself with a brilliant light golden color and fine, persistent bubbles. The aroma is characterized by Pinot Noir with classic notes of raspberries and cherries from the renowned vineyards near Verzenay and Verzy. Subsequently, Chardonnay notes of dried figs, apricots and roasted nuances from the barrel aging come. The taste is full-bodied with a solid structure. The aftertaste offers nuances of white peaches, citrus fruits, rose hips and a touch of vanilla and dark chocolate. There is a harmonious balance between freshness, structure, fullness and softness.
