While young Meursault wines can be enjoyed as AOCs, Premier Cru wines require longer aging to reach their full potential.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eLucien le Moine was established in 1999 by Rotem and Mounir Saouma, known for their uncompromising approach and innovative methods. The couple, with roots in Israel and Lebanon, share a deep passion for Burgundy and its grape varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After studying in Montpellier and working as a cellar master in Israel, Mounir moved to Burgundy in 1995. Here, he worked as a cellar master for a major negociant and developed the idea for Lucien le Moine: to acquire top-quality wines from selected producers and vinify them in his own cellar in Beaune.
