Despite challenging weather conditions with frequent rain showers, the sun exposure helped to dry the vines, resulting in high quality grapes. The wine was vinified and matured without the use of foreign yeast strains in small barrels and stainless steel, and the malolactic fermentation was blocked to preserve the freshness of the wine.
