The current vintage is 2013.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n \u003cp\u003eAmarone della Valpolicella 2013 is composed of 55% Corvina and Corvinone, 30% Rondinella and 15% Cabernet S, Nebbiolo, Croatina and Sangiovese. Only the finest grapes are selected with a low yield – around 10 kg of grapes per bottle. The grapes are placed in wooden crates and on \"arele\" (reed mats). They are pressed at the end of January, and after 20 days of maceration, fermentation begins, which lasts about 45 days. The wine is then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least seven years.
