After harvest, the grapes are immediately pressed and fermentation begins after 7-8 days of maceration. The wine is stored in steel tanks until February, when it is transferred to the grape residues from the Amarone production. This initiates a new fermentation, enriching the wine with aromas and flavors from the Amarone grapes. The wine is then matured in Slovenian oak barrels for 7 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003e The wine is ready to be enjoyed now, but will develop significantly with 5-10 years of aging.
