The grapes are destemmed and undergo a cold maceration for 5-6 days in steel tanks. The spontaneous fermentation takes place at 28-30°C, while the malolactic fermentation takes place at 20°C. The wine matures for 25 months in new French oak barrels. It presents a deep, dark garnet red color and offers aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, spices and minerals. The taste is both powerful and elegant, with nuances of dark berries, chocolate and sweet tobacco, balanced by soft tannins and a good acidity. The finish is long and pleasant.
