Frequently asked questions about white wine on sale

Is the wine on offer of inferior quality?

No. Offers may be due to batch replacement, seasonal changes or remaining batches. The quality is unchanged – it is just the price that is temporarily reduced.

What type of white wine is best for food?

Chardonnay and Riesling are good all-round wines. Sauvignon Blanc goes well with vegetables and fish, while Chenin Blanc and Pinot Grigio are ideal for salads and white meats.

How do I store white wine from an offer correctly?

White wine should be stored cool and dark – preferably below 15 °C. Avoid heat, light and temperature fluctuations, even if it is wine from a sale.
