Established in 1999 by Mariano García, former technical director of Vega Sicilia, the Aalto winery has quickly established itself as one of the most respected producers in Ribera del Duero. With a philosophy of minimal intervention in winemaking, Aalto creates wines of remarkable strength and elegance. Mariano García works with Javier Zaccagnini, former president of the Consejo Regulador of Ribera del Duero, to produce some of the region's most remarkable wines.

Aalto Ribera del Duero 2022 is a famous red wine from Ribera del Duero in Spain. It is made from 100% Tinto Fino (a local variety of the Tempranillo grape), known for creating powerful and elegant wines.

General characteristics :

• Vintage 2022 : A young wine with potential for aging, but also rich and accessible now.
• Color : Intense ruby ​​red with depth and clarity.
• Aroma : Complex aroma with notes of ripe dark berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by hints of violets, spices and subtle notes of vanilla and toasted oak from the barrel aging.

Production :

Aalto is known for its dedication to quality and detail. The grapes are hand-picked from old vines, often over 40 years old, and the wine is aged for 12-16 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.
