An excellent wine from Juan Gil, which is unfortunately produced in limited quantities!

This wine is made exclusively from Monastrell grapes from old vines that can be up to 70 years old. The grapes are harvested manually and the yield is very low. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks over 25 days at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 24 months in both American and French oak barrels, giving it an incredibly intense and concentrated flavor.

This is a Limited Edition wine, created in collaboration between Bodegas Juan Gil and Imanol Arias to celebrate the region and the Monastrell grape.

The wine presents a deep dark red color with a violet tinge. It has an intense aroma with notes of black plums, currants, mocha, tobacco and a touch of anise. The smell is extremely aromatic - close your eyes and enjoy it! The taste is also intense with a rich dark fruit and lots of spices. The wine has a velvety texture with well-integrated tannins and many layers. This is a world-class wine!

Serving temperature and use: Serve the wine at 16-18° C for the best experience. It is an excellent companion to the best piece of beef, duck or mature cheeses. The wine can be enjoyed now after a few hours of aeration, but it will develop further with aging for 5 years and can be stored until at least 2033.
