La Spinetta Vigneto Garretti Barolo 2021 is a powerful and complex Barolo from the renowned house of La Spinetta, known for its elegant and terroir-driven wines from Piedmont. The grapes come from the single vineyard Vigneto Garretti in Grinzane Cavour, where Nebbiolo enjoys optimal conditions on calcareous and clayey soils with south-facing slopes.

🔸 Appearance:
Deep garnet red color with brick red hues at the edge, typical of young Nebbiolo.

🔸 Fragrance:
Elegant and intense bouquet with classic notes of violets, rose petals, cherries and plums. After some time in the glass the wine opens up with tertiary notes of licorice, tobacco, leather and a touch of balsamic.

🔸 Taste:
Full-bodied and structured with distinctive but silky tannins. The fruit is dominated by dark cherries, blackberries and dried fruits, nicely balanced by a fresh acidity. The barrel aging contributes depth and nuances of vanilla, spices and toasted cedar. The finish is long, intense and complex - a wine that continues to develop in the glass.
